Bling is a card for making payments and an app for overview and management. With lots of functions for saving and paying so that your child can learn how to handle money safely.
You and your child can easily create Saving Pots in the app. Simply select a savings goal and save! This teaches your child not to spend all their money at once.
With the Bling App, parents determine where the Bling card works. Set spending limits, block online payments and much more.
In the Bling App, parents can keep track of their children's payments and have an overview of everything that happens. You can also deactivate this with the "Trust mode".
If your child is out and about and needs money, you can send it to the card in seconds. Or you can make up for payments already made, for example if your child has been shopping for you.
The Bling Card is a prepaid card. This means that your child can only spend what is actually on the card.Overdrawing is not possible.
If your child does not yet have their own smartphone, they can also use the Bling App from another device - For example, the family tablet.
We rely on a fair and transparent subscription model to finance the development of Bling.

The child pays safely and independently with the card, the parents set limits and rules.
Your children can use Bling Card to pay independently in the canteen, bookshop, app store and wherever Mastercard is accepted. You can rest easy knowing that every card comes with Bling extra protection. You can manage rules and spending limits in the Bling App in a relaxed manner and in real time.
Did you pay with your card? Then your smartphone will go "bling" and you will receive a notification. The older and more independent your child gets, the fewer updates you will receive.
The four-digit PIN for the card can be freely selected. It is sometimes used when paying.
The Bling Card can only be used to make payments for G-rated items.
If the Bling Card is lost, the card can be blocked immediately via the app and the money is protected.

The Bling Card is a prepaid card from Mastercard. This means that it works wherever Mastercard is accepted. Prepaid means that no debts are possible with this card. Children can only spend what is actually on the card.
Your child must be at least 7 years old to pay with a Bling Card. After that, Bling grows with your child. The older they get, the more freedom you can give them.
We rely on a fair and transparent pricing model to finance the development of Bling. Bling costs either €2.99 per month (can be canceled monthly) or €32 per year (can be canceled annually) per child and card. Bling therefore costs less than a book, a Netflix subscription or a bubble tea. The card and many popular functions are included.
You and your family will not incur any additional charges for standard use of Bling. Certain special promotions can incur considerable costs for us or our banking partner, which we will pass on to you and which are listed here.
No. Parents can send money from their existing accounts or credit cards to the Bling app, from where they can then send it to their children's Bling Card, for example, or keep it as a backup to pay their pocket money. All other Bling functions can also be used in full.
The Bling Card also works for online payments. Parents can activate or deactivate this function in the Bling App as they wish.
As children pay with the Bling Card, it has extra protection compared to regular cards. For example, it can only be used to purchase items that are suitable for minors.
If the card is lost, it can be blocked in just a few seconds via the app, which also allows parents to keep track of their children's payments and set very precise rules and limits for the card.
