The Bling Card and App teach your child how to handle money responsibly. You keep track through getting real time notifications and setting limits & rules for your kid's card.
Your child and you can easily set up Saving Pots in the app. Choose a savings goal and get started! This way your child learns not to spend all the money they have but to put some aside for future goals.
Never forget your kid's pocket money again! In your Bling App, set up the times and amount your child should receive their pocket money. Everything else is automatic!
Your child is out and about and needs money quick? Send more money onto their card within second. Or balance out already processed payments if your child was for example running errands for you lately.
If you want, you can be notified about your child's spendings via push notifications. That way you can always keep track.
With the Bling App you can determine where your child's Bling Card works. Set spending limits, block online-payments and much more.
If your child doesn't have a smartphone yet, they can access the Bling App from other devices instead. For example via the family tablet.

Yes, your child can pay securely with Bling. In the app, you can flexibly define where the card works and what limits there should be. Of course, no debts are possible. And if the card is lost, you can block it in real time via the app. In that case, the card and savings balance is held by our partner in an account that is protected by the Deposit Protection Fund (FGDR).
This means that the money is protected up to 100,000€ by the compensation scheme. Good to know, even if you might never reach 100,000€ in pocket money!
Your child must be at least 7 years old to pay with a Bling Card. After that, Bling grows with your child. The older they get, the more freedom you can give them.
